Confidentiality & IP

Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

We understand that sourcing and product-development projects may involve confidential designs, drawings, specifications, customer information and commercial data.

Our General Approach

01

Need-to-Know Information Sharing

Project information should only be shared with suppliers or service providers to the extent reasonably necessary for quotation, sampling, production, inspection or agreed project work.

02

Customer Identity

Where appropriate, a customer end-client identity does not need to be disclosed to suppliers.

03

Drawings & Design Files

Drawings, designs and specifications supplied for a sourcing project should be used only for the relevant project purpose.

04

NDA Support

Non-disclosure agreements can be discussed for suitable projects when confidential information requires additional contractual protection.

05

Marketing Use

Client project information, custom designs and confidential materials will not be intentionally used in Daro marketing materials without appropriate permission.

06

Supplier Confidentiality

Sensitive projects may use supplier NDAs, limited file access, anonymized project names or separated supplier disclosure where practical.

Important Legal Note

This page describes Daro general approach to confidentiality. It is not a substitute for a project-specific NDA, intellectual-property agreement or professional legal advice.
